I am trying a new way I found to preserve my Sweet Annie. I used to cut it and dry it upside down...but it sheds and just does not look as good as other peoples.
So, you stick it in a solution of mineral oil and citric acid for 3-4 days....

...and then hang it up to dry for a few weeks. Have any of you tried this or something else? I'll see how this works out.

Here's a few things I have made in the last few days...
Prairie Clutch Dolls, I made three & already sold one!

Hoot the owl, some big candy corn ornies and two candles I grudged like I did the pumpkin last week. *when doing this you don't have to use beeswax, use paraffin or melt old candles

And some Primitive farm animals!

I have received and award from
Tiffany
Thank you....you are a DOLL!
All the blogs I love are in my blog roll, so consider yourself awarded!

country pleasuresNow I have to get ready to go to Golsboro...my son still has to get a bookbag and he needs a haircut! I already warned Mary-Kate not to even look at anything to wear or anything for that matter....she has gotten PLENTY!
Well maybe I will get by my thrift stores and I always need something from Michaels!
Have a great Monday!
