Hello my friends. I trust that everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July weekend. We did grill out.....but most of the weekend was spend working on our continuing house projects. We finished the main construction of our barn, still have to add the doors and I would like a cupola on top. I will be painting this today....guess what color!
Here are a few TS finds ......
I found the little wood towel rack, the napkins (I got all they had left), and the little metal grater at Habitat Restore. I found the little crock at a TS and the little wood with tile thing at good will. Which 2 of these things can you put together to form one prim thing?
Ta-daaa! My make do grater now hangs on the side of my cabinet.
I finally painted 2 sets of shaker boxes that I have had for along time.
I am pleased with the way they look, now I have a round set to complete.
Here are a couple of shots of my little plantings..... I love the creeping jenny in the coffee pot....
hen and chicks in a chicken feeder and moss rose in a bread box.
And now I will leave you with some sweet blog candy....you will not be disappointed!!!
I just found this one....love it! Na-Da Farm Great old fashion gardens and.......
Oh my goodness.....I will have one of these water garden beds
check out Cindies Garden Oh....good stuff and......
If you love Herb gardens and goodies go to The Crows Nest Great Blog and awesome website....I want it all! Can you tell my heart is in the garden right now?
Well my butt cheeks are going numb...a sure sign I have sitting on it to long!
Time to get to painting!!!

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog(-: I am glad you like the waterbed pond. It is a fun thing. I change it around at times and I found especially here in the Summer the succulents do best in the galvanized buckets etc that I hang on there.
If you drill a hole in the bottom of the watering can and run the plastic tube through it to the spout it works a lot better for a fountain thingy(-:
Then I filled it with dirt and planted a hen/chick(-:
Thanks for stopping by, I love your prim style. A cupola on your barn would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh..do tell what color...maybe classic cream??? I don't know because I don't know what color your house is but I am curious...LOL Dianntha
