This is how our bathroom looked the first time we saw it........
It was a bright sunshine yellow
I still have some things to do.....like replacing the sink faucet and we are putting in checkerboard tile flooring.....but this is how it looks today.
I am not sure you can tell from the pictures but I painted the walls light camel....
I also need to put rabbit wire in the little cabinet above the toliet and I need to buy a rug.... and a toliet seat cover
so what do you think....look a little better?
Here is another Before....to bad I had already taken the pink wallpapered panel out of the top...
I like black....
Oh since you are in here, come on in ...look around my little dining room!
That picture is class of 1904...I found it in the attic of a home we owned.
I did not make any major changes in here, the walls were already a butter color.
Now there will be a big change in the future....the walls are coming down. See, this room opens ro a small living room on one side and small family room on the other....that is right off the kithen......yes we want it all to be one big open area, with beams....it is gonna be nice!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I must say I was drooling going through all the pictures of your home - how very beautiful and your redo in your bathroom is stunning.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that people leave things behind when they move - especially things like that old picture.
I'm always amazed at what people find in attics and sheds when they purchase a home that had been sold and bought many times over and THE TREASURES ARE STILL THERE....that someone didn't remove them when they lived there. It's amazing.
Karen

Oh you are so right! We lived in NC for a short time during the summer, and for 12 years prior to last fall, we went to NC every April and November for 5-6 days to stay with friends in the Greensboro and later Pinehurst areas. Sometimes it was too hot for us then - especially in April. I would love to live in NC in the winter and summer up north! LOL
