Alive and not well

Well I am alive but I have had the worse cold, allergy, sinus with a hacking cough ever! I am feeling much better today, thank God cause it was really kicking my butt!
I wanted to get on here and not only let you know I am still living...but I have goodies to share. I did a swap with Jenn at Bittersweet Prims and here is what she sent me:
The stump doll, the sweet little cupboard angel and the little bag. This is my open front cabinets in my kitchen.

In my hallway near my laundry area I hung the other sweet angel and the wool bag!
I just love everything...and it makes me so happy everytime I pass them. She does wonderful work! Thanks Jenn!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I made this Dry Goods sign for my kitchen (the same open front cabinets as above)
I was very pleased with it.
I did get our barn painted.... Have I ever told you how much I love my Wagner Power Painter ....I do.I do! (I did paint the singles a little...my bad!)
I finished up my textile swap and got it sent out just in time this afternoon. I sure hope she likes her goodies!
I have some makeovers to share too....I will get them on later this week. Right now I am gonna catch up on some blog reading while I eat some fat free rainbow sherbet (my fave)!

  2. Hi Raggedy Angel.
So sorry you have been under the weather. It is that time of year. People all over seem to be getting those summer colds with that darn cough. Sometimes it is the weather changes, but here in Phoenix we have had nothing but hot, so I don't know what the deal is with that. Take care of yourself. I love your open face kitchen cabinets. Great post. Country Hugs, Sherry

  5. It sounds like you caught my cold. It was a terrible one. I was out for a week. Just felt terrible. Off and on fever and the cough was nasty. I was ready to go to the doctor when I started to feel a bit better. It lasted over a week for me. I hope you feel back to normal soon! NO fun to be sick in the Summer time!!!!

Love your sign!!! Great job! I just did a 'dry goods' sign too, did you have the stencil for it? I didn't, so I made one...LOL...by the time I got the stencil all cut out, I could've care less if I had the dang sign or not...way too time consuming for me!

    Feel better, girl!

  13. I sure hope you're feeling lots better! It's no fun to be sick -- especially during the summertime.

I love all of your swap goodies and your new Dry Goods sign. And that red barn too! Your kitchen cabinet redo is our inspiration for our 1960s wood cabinets. Our next big project (I think) when it's time to work indoors again.

    Enjoy your week!

  15. I am so sorry that you have been sick. There is a lot of this going around. Sad to say, here in NC the "swine flu" is still going around and there was another death this week. You really don't hear much about it on the national news. Love your barn! I love angels, too. Take care and get well soon!

  21. Dear Raggedy -
I'm so glad you stopped by my blog so that I have now found you! I love a girl who likes to get her hands dirty. Just read your hypertufa lesson and you did a wonderful job explaining it. I've made several things with it and it is a fun project.
What will you do with your barn? I'm thinking of all the ways you will decorate it? Will wait and see.
