Old Christmas?

Have you heard of Old Christmas.....see I am not late posting these Christmas Photos...because Old Christmas is not here yet! Read more about it Here
Good save ....uh? Really, time has just gone by to quickly. But before I take it down and pack it up I wanted to share a little with you.

Joey made this door box for me after I saw one one here Behind My Red Door. I Just love it....but my greens are looking a little tired.
Did you notice that we replaced the old metal post with the turned columns? I finally got them painted and Joey and I put them up on a cold Sunday. If you would like to see how our porch looked when we moved in click here.

I am working on some snowmen and other winter goodies for myself (I got rid of all the cutiesy ones so I am replacing them with homemade primitive ones) so I will share some pictures when I have them displayed.

    OH WOW! Jill and I saw a smaller version of the door box the other day and we remembered she ewas going to one. I just might need her to make me one too now!

    I love how you decorated the mantel with the pineapples and fruit and I love all your trees in the crocks and bowls. VEry prim!! I am so glad you shared those pics before you undecroate!!

    Your columns look great! I love your door box and all your 'holiday' looks wonderful, love your fireplace. I love decorating with fresh fruit (or faux) and greens...your touches are perfect! It all looks so pretty :)

    Everything looks beautiful! Isn't it sad that it only stays up for such a short time? I've been taking down Christmas decorations but leaving the greens and twinkle lights up. I just love looking at them at night time.

    Love what you've done to your house. I, too, have a newer house that's similar to yours on the inside. Did you use an old fireplace on the front of your brick?

    love, love your blog. thanks for following mine too. gorgeous decor that you have. may i ask about your fireplace insert? did you just add the black surround or was it part of the insert.....i want to do this to our stone fireplace....i am gonna show hubby a pic of your fireplace and see if he can make a piece for ours so it looks like yours...:)

    I can look at Christmas decor pictures all year and I'm so glad you didn't take yours down before sharing....it's all so perfectly prim! I love everything.
