I have a BIG one!

Hello....Long time no blogging.... I know...I know, but I have been a busy girl!
Oh...my big one is my mailbox of course! It is the one thing that is finished around here. The mailbox that was here was falling apart, so when I went to pick out a new one, I picked the big one! My Magazines don't have to be rolled up and the mailman won't have to honk every time I get a packages and goodies (so feel free to send me some,LOL). Anyway, I kept it simple...but I like it. How big is yours...I mean what does it look like?

As you can see I am still working in my kitchen...what a mess! But we are getting there....the cabinets are finished. Can you see the added touch?

Look at the before pic....plain doors

Joey used the table saw to cut ridges in the cabinet doors....for a bead board effect. I love it!

I hope to be finished with this kitchen redo by Monday....so I can move on to the rest of the house.
I did weigh on Tuesday, I took my picture...but then I got busy and never posted. Not much of a change. half a pound. I have lowered my points since Tuesday, so hopefully I will see a bigger drop next Tuesday. Hopefully, I will post on time!
Break is over....back to work for me!

  7. I love the Kitchen! It is looking good. I love the Big Mailbox totally nice. I live in an apartment and they totally shred my mags in the tiny Mailbox/slot we have. LOL I don't know if I told you this but i have been trying to loose weight too. Some weeks I do really well and others it just comes off slower. Hang in there!!

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Those cabinets are wonderful. What an awsome job you did on them. I love the color you chose for them and there are so many of them! WOW!!!

On your weight loss, 1/2 pound is still very encouraging. Taking off weight is never easy. You should still be proud of yourself.

  16. I just entered your giveaway & started looking at your site.

    LOVE IT!

Your cabinets & kitchen are going to look sooo awesome! Wow, all that elbow grease will be worth it with how terrific it will look especially since it was all done with by your own hands, not hired out!

I also love your idea of a larger mailbox too! I have the same problems in the suburbs here with magazines, etc. being bent or torn, larger items being shoved in so tight I can't even get them out of the mailbox! When it comes to my County Sampler Magazine or other publications I want to scream! ARGH!

Hmmmm, I might have to think about purchasing a bigger box too now that you've planted that seed. :)

Can't wait to keep perusing your blog. :)

Love the name "Raggedy Ann", that was my nickname growing up! :)
