Well, I knew it was only a matter of time before I killed somebody....or something. Yesterday was the day! I had made this really prurddeee pumpkin and had already baked it once and I should have left it alone......but noooooo, I put a little more grunge on it and stuck it back in the oven, well I did not notice my oven was on broil.....yes dead by fire, and I mean Fire! I had to put it out! I was soooooo mad at myself. Anyone interested in a char boiled pumpkin?
Anyway, glad I did not burn these gruby long stemed punkin's!
I like them lined up on the mantle at my shop or in a bowl...
Look I got my swap from Gina at Catnap Inn
Ain't they pretty? I hung them right up at my Kitchen window. Thanks Gina!
I hope everyone has a safe weekend.

ReplyDeleteYou cracked me up! That's too funny.
ReplyDeleteSay put it out on your porch on Halloween.
Love the picture of the pumpkins lined up on the mantel in your shop with the crows and plaid pumpkin. Love the game board on the shutters also! I just made myself a game board a few months ago and am getting ready to do a small one to go with it. I have an old shutter in front of my fireplace screen and your photo has given me a wonderful idea of what to do with my gameboards. Thanks for sharing this photo, it has inspired me. I've added you to my favorite lists on my blogroll.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Labor Day weekend.
Cindy

It's just a super duper extreme primitive pumpkin! ;-) LOL! Sorry it burnt though. That would have been really frustrating!

Hi Beth,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me and leaving a comment. I was reading a post from Aug 28th and I also think we handle groceries too much..No wonder grocery shopping is a chore, not something fun. I'm not sure what happened to your pumpkin other than it burned. How fun to receive a package and the towels are fun. :) Take care.
Deb :)
