Oldie.... But A Goodie

Does anyone remember this picture? It is a Home Interiors picture from over 30 years ago. My SIL had one when I was a child, my aunt had one also.
A while back a friend of mine (who is younger than me) said she was looking for a picture like that. I talked to her the other day and ask if she was still wanted one because I had seen one in the thrift store. She said yes, so I went back to see if they still had it...and they had two of them. So I got both of them.

Today I primmed up the frame of mine a little, and hung it in my LR. I think it is perfect for Fall.

  9. Hey there Beth,
I added another photo to my posting today..tell me what you think?
my machine is a Husqvarna Scandinavia 400...I love it.it sews and embroiders...I got it at my local joanns store..they have a Viking Department in the store...if you have one..I would highly recommend it..they are great machines..I love the ladys at ours and they will give you classes till you learn it..and they also have embroidery classes where you can take them and use their machines..that is how it all started..using the Designer SE..I would love that one...it has all the bells and whistles on it..cuts the thread for you..knots it too...but it has a spendy price tag...mine was about $800..but to me so worth it.and they will let you make payments same as cash for up to 24 months or longer (not sure) depending on the machine you get...:)let me know if I can help you in any way..you will be hooked...

  10. you are welcome! you may have to go to a regular sewing store if they have them..I would do some research on line for your machine...do the consumer reports too to see what the best machine is..since you are paying an arm and a leg for them...:) good luck...let me know when you get one!...its only a matter of time...:)

I came by way of my Mom's blog(Bj's Corner)-You left a comment on one of her posts :) She is so new to bloging and doesn't have the "return" a comment thing down quite yet(in time)
I do love your blog and felt right at home when I first came on because my mom actually had the picture that's in todays post in our house for years-I really like it and how you have it set up in your home.
    Have a great weekend.
