I"M FREEZING MY PECKER OFF!

Said, Mister Turkey.
I am sorry , I just could not resist that one! This is what I saw this morning when I went out to warm up my truck. Baby.....it's cold outside! And my bones don't like it....now I know why old folks move to warmer climates.
We had a little snow yesterday.... It was gone as quickly as it came! Now understand here in Eastern NC we don't do snow. I mean if we get a ground covering.....we shut down...we just don't do snow! You go to store get your bread, milk, monkey food and go Home. Go out and play with the kids for 10 minutes....take a nice picture...collect snow for snowcream...make it eat it....put on warm pj"s and sit by the fire and craft til it is gone!

I can't believe I almost forgot this ...One year ogo Raggedy Angels Primitives officially opened! So I went over to the shop to decide what I wanted to giveaway in honor of this occasion. I decided "Gracie" would love to go home with one of you lovely ladies. Gracie is a true OOAK handmade (by me) 24" doll, and... she grabbed the big Candy Kane ...so I said okaaaay! I will also include a 5oz. room spray of your choice.

    If I can stop laughing about your attention getting post name, I will comment! LOL!! Okay, I'm good. I lived in the Tidewater Virginia area for 7 years and I can attest to the fact that people in your area do shut down when it snows. Being from Ohio, it was such a shock for me, but totally understandable. I found your blog on Leslie's Whatcha Working on Wed. list. You are hilarious!     You speak of snow...we get so much that we run out of room where to put it...LOL

    I am not much of a winter person. I like it right up to the Holidays and then wish it to go away :)

    Oh Beth, are you sure thats all that is cold?...lol...I love how the water just froze..too neat..our state of Washington closes down if we get a footprint tracing of snow as well..schools are late or closed...we do the same thing go out and take photos. play..and the kittys love it...then sit by a fire...yeah we are wanting to move cause as we are gettin older..our bones despise it...hate getting old...have a great day you nut!

    Any temp below 70 degrees is cold for me! lol And both Doug and I are retired so i don't know why we hang around the Midwest year after year - the winters are harsh.

    I could have been positive I posted here yesterday! HMMMMMM.
    Anyway, I have an extra spot on my bed for this sweet little gal....so I do believe she needs a bus ticket headed my way...so PLEASE ENTER ME IN THE DRAWING! Oh, I'll even pay her way here...lol

    And I had to laugh about the snow...because we do the very same thing here! My brother lives in Michigan..so he's seen both sides of the spectrum in terms of the snow. We all tell him he lives in the artic...and he laughs at us in return:)
