Yes, I have got a little something done.....I have been in a "Funk"...couldn't do anything right! But I think I got my MOJO back. I know this happens to the best of us!
Here are some designs I did with my machine, I am gonna make them into little ornies for the tree. The designs are from HomeBerries.
I am addicted! I love how quickly I can get these done!
*Little tip for you...I Love this vanilla! It is Molina, Mexican vanilla extract. I buy it at Walmart, it is in the Mexican food section, cost $1.50. I like to put in a spray bottle, it has great staining quality and smells good too!
Have a great weekend!!!!
Those are great!! I wonder if my machine can do that? I need to check it out!!
ReplyDeleteThey're so adorable (great tip about the vanilla, btw). Glad you liked the little Pumpkinman -- we were happy he found such a good home!
ReplyDeleteI think we all get inot a funk every once in a while!
ReplyDelete....those are so cute-Love them all!!!
I sure wish I could sew...I guess I should "wish" for a sewing machine first...
...then "wish" I could learn how to use it!!! ;)

Have a great Friday & a wonderful weekend!!

ReplyDeleteYour stitcheries are great, love that snowman, course I have a soft spot for gingerbread men, too. I've been using that vanilla for quite awhile. One of the prim pattern designers uses it & it smells awesome. Have a great weekend. Glad you're feeling better.

I love your stitchery's even though you are cheating with the machine...LOL. No really they are some cute and I can't wait to see the ornies you make with them.

Your stitcheries look terrific...I really want one of those sewing machines now! LOL
ReplyDeleteWhen you mentioned the Mexican vanilla, it reminded me of something that I read the other day. Thought I'd share it with you: http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/vanilla.htm.
Beth,
ReplyDeleteI love how your embroidery turned out!! Isn't Heartstring Embroidery that greatest place for prim designs! I purchased the snowman one. I put it on a dish towel, on a wool felt table runner, and also made a mini pillow with the designs.(I'm just a little snowman crazy...LOL) Can't wait to see what else you make with your new machine.
I'm going to post some photos of my show and some goodies I made tomorrow...cause I'm tired after two days at the craft show.

Good Morning Beth!
ReplyDeleteJust ran across your blog and had to tell you how much I enjoyed it! I really liked the pictures of your home, espicially the cupboard your hubby considered firewood! You did a fab job fixing it up. All the pictures look so cozy.
Hope your day is great!
Beth S.
Wow! my machine certainly cannot do that!!! I am glad you are out of your funk. I hate it when that happens. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the vanilla idea--we live 50 miles from the Mexico border and have their vanilla at our fingertips...(lucky us!)It is so cheap and YUMMY!
