Flying My Colors

A few weeks ago I started digging my flags and other Summer decor out of storage. Well I found my flags and some other stuff, but I could not find my buntings. I had two huge ones and last year I got a bunch of small ones half price after the 4th,well they are all MIA. I have looked here... and there... and yes everywhere!
No buntings! But you see...the barn that is now my store used to store all of my holiday stuff. Well when we started working on the store, we rented one of those storage places and moved all our holiday stuff (and there is alot of it). After Christmas we made some space in our other barn and brought everrrrrrything back!

So I figure somewhere between Halloween and Christmas my flag buntings will show up again.

So what was a girl to do in the meantime.....buy some more of course!

I got some flag panel material for a $1 a yard at Walmart,so I cut it and sewed it end to end and hung it over the window at my shop. It works!

I wish everyone a very happy and safe 4th of July, and next year buntings will be everywhere!

  1. Great decorations. I have an old farm house, but we sit just on the edge of town. I had wanted to make some bunting to put up on the porch, and kept thinking I would get around to it, well here it is the 4th, and still no bunting. Maybe next year.
