Turning North Carolina Blue!!!

Yes, I voted and I hope for the first time in 30 years we go blue! I did my part to sweep the red out of my state....Goodbye Libby Dole ...go back to Kansas!

No matter where you stand ...this is a history making election.
And I am thankful that we are all able to choose for ourselves!
This weekend my children and I were working at our local Democratic Headquarters, we met a lady that had worked on Robert Kennedy's campaign...and he predicted that in forty years a African American would run for President and here we are! I know it it is not gonna be easy to dig out of this mess, but I believe there are better days ahead!
I am gonna cook up some supper and get in front of my TV! This is a very exciting time at my house! WE ARE FIRED UP!!!!!!!

  1. Wish I could say the same about Nebraska. :) But I did my part and that's all I can do. I am so excited for the east states to close! Can't wait to see the results!

  6. unfortunately ours did not win...we so wanted McCain. so will wait and see how the next 4 years treats us...still very scared about the next 4 years..but its done now..Not happy either..on another note..wool is so much fun to embroider on...I use the sticky stabilizer on these or other flimsy materials too...use it if you don't see the back as it is sticky and doesn't wash out..so it is great on the stockings...I made another one yesterday out of a piece of woving..not sure what it is got it at the thrift store..but it worked out so well for a stocking..will post it today.. when I make another to match it..the ideas are endless..I love it...have you made any more on your machine..I also machine embroidered with the blanket stitch on these..and on the heel part of the sock...to much fun...:)
